See you next week!

Thank you to everyone for all your funny/sweet comments! My mother in law was in town this past week so I haven't been blogging and in 2.5 hours were off to Disneyland! I'm so excited I can't sleep.

Who watched the 2nd part of the NJ housewives reunion. Someone should probably let Teresa know she is not a celebrity, her husband is a disgusting pig and talking over someone doesn't make you right. It makes you an asshole.

I have batteries for my camera/video camera so there will be a huge photo post when I get back. Until then please have an amazing week!

Early morning with my boys.

{1} When was the last time you lost your temper?
Sunday. Jack wasn't listening (as usual). He likes to pick up his brother even though he know's better.

{2} What 3 words best describe you?
Hmmmmm....Laid-back, high strung, and thoughtful. I'm pretty calm most of the time, but when I get anxious it completely takes over.

{3} What movie could you watch over and over again and never get tired of?
You've got mail and when Harry met Sally. I love me some Meg Ryan.

{4} If you could do something dangerous, just once, with no risk, what would you do?
No. I skydived when I was 19, that's all the danger I need.

{5} Which is more important intelligence or common sense?
Common sense. You can teach intelligence but not common sense.

Happy Wednesday! Hope on over and link up!

Trendy tuesday!

I'm linking up with Meghan

Trendy Tuesday

Trendy tuesday

I'm really loving skinny jeans right now. Normally I'm a huge fan of bootcut, but they're so cute cuffed (I'm short)
I love that Tom's donates shoes. I think it's awesome that they give back something so important. Could you imagine not owning any shoes?
Big sunglasses and studs are a must.
And I love big slouchy purses. I've been using a diaper bag too long.

Happy Tuesday dolls!

Reasons I'm never eating again.

I walked today for an hour and a half. Hopefully I can get some gym time in tomorrow.

It's about to get real up in this bitch.

When I was a little girl, about 4. My Dad left us. His parents left us. His family left us. I was very lucky. I had an Uncle and a Papa that were more than willing to take over the father figure role. A few years later my Mom married a great guy. He adopted my younger brother and I and he is our Dad. He is our Father. Every few years my biological father and his family will contact my brother and I. It makes me livid. It takes me to a very dark place. Yesterday was one of those days.

The kids were playing. Jack was in the playroom and Ryan was in the living room with me when someone knocked on the door. I looked out the window and saw an old woman sitting in a car in front of the house.( I thought it was my next door neighbor. She's super old and has alot of help from her church and I thought it was someone asking for help with a pill bottle or needed help with their car)

I open the door and a man says "HI Angel! It's your Grandpa!" And I said "Excuse me?" he says " You're Angel right?" and I said "yes" and he says " It's Tony's Dad!" and I slammed the door in his face and had a nervous breakdown.

I've often thought about what it would be like to see any of them again. What I would say, what I would do. After a frantic call to Brannan and my best friend, I calmed down a little. Jack had overheard what was going on said to me "I love your Grandpa Mommy." And that made me angry, not at him but at them. How dare they show up to my home. How do they know where I live? What do they want?

My sweet son had nothing but love for them. Nothing but happiness for Mommy's "Grandpa". I remember being young and having that love for them. Writing them letters that were sent back unopened. Waiting for phone calls that never came. Waiting for promises to be kept that would always be broken.

I know this might not seem like a big deal to a lot of people, but for me, it's huge. All my life they pop in whenever it's convenient for them. Every insecurity I have is because of them. I constantly feel not good enough. I look like the people I despise most in the world therefore I think I'm ugly. I believe everyone in my life is going to walk out on me b/c my Father did, if he didn't want me why would anyone else?

The only good thing was the kids didn't see him and he didn't see them. On a lighter note is anyone watching American Horror Story? Whoa. It's sooooooo good. I hope everyone is having a good week and my Debbie Downer post didn't bring ya'll down. Here's WWTKW

Welcome Crazy Mama! I'm getting better at commenting back, if I've forgotten you I'm so sorry!

{1} What is your feel better remedy when you are sick?
Vicks vapor rub, vicks tissue, oj and m & m's.

{2} When illness strikes, what is your policy on staying home from work, school or church with yourself and the family?
I'm a work through it person. If there are an obscene amount of bodily fluids involved then you need to be in bed. If the kids have a bad cough I keep them home.

{3} What do you think is worse? Flu or cold?
Flu. You know what's going to happen with a cold, but a flu can always get worse.

{4} Flu shots? Do you get them? Have you yet?
I don't believe in them.

{5} When are are feeling down, what is your usual, go-to therapy? (retail therapy, exercise, comfort food, etc).
I become a little girl again and want my mom. She makes me feel better. There's nothing like a hug from Mama.

Happy Hour Wednesday!

Photobucket

{1} If you had an extra hour to do ANYTHING for yourself each day what would you do?
Sleep, or take a real shower and shave my legs. I only have time to do it on the weekends. Welcome to motherhood!

{2} Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Night owl. I'm a HUGE bitch in the morning.

{3} How much sleep do you get on an average night?
About 6 hours. More on the weekends b/c Brannan lets me sleep in.

{4} When do you find the time to blog/surf the ol' interweb?
In the morning, when I'm drinking my tea/coffee. Or late at night when everyone is asleep.

{5} What is the ONE thing you're never too busy for?
My kids. Everything else can take a backseat :)

Make sure you head on over to Mamarazzi's page and link up! Happy Wednesday! I'm going to happy hour tonight! Not sure how I'm going to do it on my diet but I'll figure it out!

The perfect day.

Today I'm linking up with Megan I saw this on Sar's blog she hosted the 15 day challenge I was so bad at. Go check it out!

Dear Monday,

Thank you for being so perfect. Today you brought rain. Today Brannan stayed home from work and made me breakfast aka tea and Jack breakfast. Today we had Little Lucca for lunch. Today Ryan took 2TWO2! naps and Jack took one, which meant I got to nap with Brannan twice today, while it rained, on our new sheets. Today all 3 of my boys were as sweet as pie. There were no fights or timeouts or meltdowns. There were no hissy fits at Jack's dental appointment nor were there any cavities. I'm dreading Tuesday. I can only imagine the chaos it will bring to make me forget today.

Love, me.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I only got a little bit of Halloween decorating done :( Brannan is getting annoyed. What a party pooper! So here it is:

1.I got the jars at Marshalls almost 3 Christmases ago. They were like $8 each. Their contents are from the Dollar Store! Cobwebs, severed fingers, a severed hand and plastic creepy crawlies. I'm trying to keep Jack out of them. He wants to play with the crawlies, not so much the fingers. I suppose that's a good thing. I wouldn't want my love of loonies to come this close to home.

2.A BEWARE glittered sign. $2.50 at Target. This woman had just put it back so I snapped it up before she could change her mind! (our Target is very competitive.)

3.My pumpkins. Another dollar store find from last year. I bedazzled them with stuff I hijacked from my mother, sequins, beads, puff paint, googly eyes, spray glitter. I wouldn't recommend the spray glitter on a orange pumpkin. It doesn't show up that well unless you nose to nose with it. The glittered skull is also from the dollar store last year, it was the last one! I'll have to head over there this year and see if they have more.

4.My glittered pumpkins are from Target and were $2.50 each as well the spidery table cloth was $4.99. I think it really brings everything together.

I hope you liked everything so far, I'm going to be sneaking in more as the month goes on! It you get a minute hope on over to

and wish her a very Happy Birthday!
